Actualización Proyecto etwinning curso 18-19

In this project children will be introduced into art and history of art. They will analyze the work of some selected artists examining their style and the materials they used and will create their own work in the style of the selected artist.
Each work of art will be dismantled and reassembled in every single element, motivating the child to observe, analyze and reproduce the work in a new, personal way. Pupils will therefore learn about the process of creating a composition, working with the idea of visual balance, and the concept of reducing forms down to their most essential components (rectangles, squares, lines, etc.). Our journey will start with the paintings of Piet Mondrian, focusing on his use of primary and neutral colours, passing from Vasilij Kandinsky, Henri Matisse and Fortunato Depero, to arrive at the Pop Art of Andy Warhol.
Children and teachers of the partnered schools will develop the activities together, sharing results attained in progress.
